Whether you’re working on a project, freelancing or just starting out in your career, the Host Programme gives you the opportunity to become part of daily life at Impact Hub Madrid, while accessing a coworking space and a community full of opportunities to connect, learn and grow.
In exchange for volunteering a few hours a week to support the day-to-day running of the space, you’ll have access to our coworking spaces, events, learning opportunities and a network of people and organisations to learn from, connect with and grow alongside.
What is a Host?
Being part of the Host team is about much more than helping out in the space. It means becoming an active part of a community where conversations, projects and opportunities to learn, connect and contribute are constantly taking shape.
No two days are the same, but some moments are part of the Host experience time and again.

We believe that a great community is built by taking care of people. That’s why being a Host is about creating a welcoming environment, supporting others and making the most of the opportunities to learn, connect and grow.

What kind of candidates are we looking for?
We’re looking for people who are curious, collaborative and eager to learn, contribute and be part of a community. We particularly value candidates with the following profiles:
- Social entrepreneurs looking for connections and visibility.
- Freelancers and self-employed professionals interested in coworking and professional growth.
- Sustainability consultants focused on the SDGs, impact and systemic innovation.
- Creatives and artists with ideas for bringing cultural vibrancy to the space.
- Community facilitators with experience organising or motivating groups.
Previous experience as a Host is not required. What matters most is your attitude, curiosity and willingness to contribute.

What is the process like?
Complete the form
Tell us who you are, what you are working on, and what your availability is.
We review your application
We will assess whether your profile and availability match the current needs of our spaces.
We get to know you
We want to get to know you, understand what you are looking for, and see whether we are a good fit. If there is a vacancy available, we will invite you to an in-person interview with the person responsible for the space. If there is no availability at that time, you can join the waiting list and we will let you know when an opportunity comes up.

If everything is a good fit, you will join us as a Host and become an active part of the Impact Hub Madrid ecosystem. You will have access to the spaces, the community, and all the opportunities the program offers to support your personal and professional development.
